ART AT HIGH NOON! WORKSHOPS FOR SENIORS
Subject: Have fun!
Presented by: Katarzyna Wesołowska-Karasiewicz
“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing…” (George Bernard Shaw)
December is a time of preparation for Christmas. Many of us are already eagerly awaiting what we will find under the Christmas tree. Christmas presents often remind us of our carefree childhood. We invite you on a sentimental journey back to your childhood. We will tell you about the world of old-fashioned games and toys from years gone by. Katarzyna Wesołowska-Karasiewicz will present some of the exhibits from the Toy and Fairy Tale Museum collection, from the oldest ones, over a hundred years old, to those that may move seniors and bring back memories of beautiful moments from their childhood.
The meeting will culminate in the creation of your own toy, which you can give to your grandchildren.
