21st Mózg Festival 2025

International Festival of Contemporary Music and Visual Arts

Mózg Festival is an interdisciplinary event presenting the most authentic phenomena of contemporary music, performing arts, audiovisual installations and sound experiments. Artists from Poland and the world come together here to share art that knows no stylistic boundaries, from concerts and performances to lectures, installations, films and experimental radio plays. In 2025, the festival is held under the motto ‘DO NOT FORGET TO KEEP YOUR MIND CLEAR,’ which calls for clarity of mind in times of information overload and social tensions. We believe that art can be a tool for personal and community development. The programme includes events at four locations: Teatr Polski, Rother Mills, Municipal Gallery bwa and the Mózg club – the legendary space of Bydgoszcz’s avant-garde.
Invited artists include Angela Wai Nok Hui, Tomaž Grom, Anthony Pateras, Jullien Desprez, The Sheperds of Cats, Robert Piotrowicz, MI-EL and many other outstanding sound and image artists. New to this year’s edition is PRELUDIUM, a three-day workshop that takes place a week before the main festival, dedicated to improvisation as a form of composition in real time. These meetings combine theory, practice and a joint final concert. Admission to all events is free of charge, with advance registration by email – a conscious way of building a festival community.
