In this performance, the artist comments on the pop culture of today, on the “plastic”, kitsch taste. Including the viewers in her activities, she puts them in a situation where they become the directors, while still being the viewers.
Thus she exposes weakness and embarrassment, everyone can be a performer. Contemporary artistic activities rarely arouse reflections, more often people say “I also could do this”. During the performance of Karolina Stępniowska the laypeople and artists alike will have a chance to show their imagination and artistic approach
towards art.
