Agnieszka Piksa’s exhibition is an artistic situation in which visitors can explore their capacity to be kind to one another, including to strangers. This method is characterised not only by simplicity, but also by pragmatism. Who knows what sort of network of skills we will find useful? In addition, it helps to alleviate feelings of fear. Fear is the driving force behind populism and tyranny. It impairs one’s sense of proportion and distorts one’s perception of reality. It simply leads one away from the truth. The exhibition comprises large-format comics, textiles, illustrations, diagrams and books for visitors to browse through. Agnieszka Piksa is a comic book and zine author, as well as an illustrator. A graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, and an assistant in the Drawing Studio of the Department of Intermedia Art Methods in Kraków.
