The place we are in affects our perspective of perceiving the world. The title island was an excuse to create images.
The presented works graphically reinterpret the island and concepts such as mystery / isolation / closure. And they look for answers in the signs of a long-forgotten language.
Biographical notes: Ada Zielińska and Patryk Hardziej. Multidisciplinary graphic designers and illustrators. The founders of Hardziej Studio. They have collaborated, among others, with the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, the Emigration Museum in Gdynia, the Gdynia Design Centre, the Ministry of Civil Defence and Crisis Management of New Zealand, the Computer History Museum in California, and Grafill in Norway.
