Festival of Contemporary Music and Visual Arts — 8th Mózg Festival

The Festival of Contemporary Music and Visual Arts — 8th Mózg Festival will take place from November 15th to 17th, 2012. The project will take place in the concert hall of the Municipal Centre of Culture and at the Mózg club, while the visual part of the festival will be held in the Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz.
A group exhibition titled Walls. Part 2 will be presented, with the participation of the following artists: Tomasz Mażewski, Łukasz Ogórek, Jakub Pieleszek, Piotr Szmitke, Artur Trojanowski, ZbyZiel. The curator of the exhibition is Jolanta Ciesielska.
The exhibition consists of paintings, photographs and multimedia works related to the artistic ideas of John Cage, whose year is now celebrated. In addition to the works of these artists, during the festival the Municipal Gallery bwa will present films showing the most interesting performances of John Cage, as well as two documentaries on contemporary music: Step Across the Border and On the Edge.
