„Winter” is a selection of illustrations mainly vector ones by Maria Kraśnicka. This personal cycle is a consequence of coping with everyday life: the author is looking for her place in the current world, where illusion has disappeared. The works are a record of states and thoughts, but most of all: praise of imagination.
Maria Kraśnicka born in 1983 in Białystok, studied Intermedia Art (diploma 2010) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Since 2008, she’s been creating video stage design, currently as vj Munn. She’s been illustrating for two years, in a perverse way presenting the reality. She is mainly inspired by the animal world. The subject revolves around loneliness and mismatches.
