We invite the directors of cultural institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship to the first networking meeting of the new year. This is an opportunity to discuss matters with others facing similar challenges, to share experiences, and to reflect together on the current needs and future directions of cultural institutions in the region.
Whether you’re already part of the network or just thinking of joining, everyone is equally welcome. The meeting is open to all and aims to foster a sense of community; its purpose is to strengthen cooperation and build relationships based on partnership and dialogue.
The topic of the meeting will be management control in cultural institutions. We will combine the training with a study visit to the event’s hosts – the Art Exhibition Office (bwa) in Bydgoszcz. It will also be an opportunity to gain an inside look at how the BWA operates and to examine the practical solutions used within the institution.

About the series of meetings:
Working in a managerial role often involves facing numerous challenges: an excessive workload, a lack of understanding among staff, pressure from local authorities, a tight budget and high expectations from the local community. These demands can sometimes be conflicting, which can lead to frustration and burnout. We want to support you in these challenges through regular meetings, which will provide a space for sharing experiences, gaining new knowledge and recharging your batteries. The programme will include group supervision sessions, lectures delivered by experts, and training sessions.
