An elaborate, visually sophisticated film directed by Dariusz Gackowski, “Fabryka” (Factory) is a good “medium” to introduce us to the surprising industrial history of Bydgoszcz. What industry used to make the City on the Brda River powerful? What factories were considered to be locally leading or even global brands? How to protect and promote knowledge about industrial heritage? The meeting will be held under the auspices of the Water, Industry and Crafts Trail in Bydgoszcz. Presented by: Adam Gajewski, keeper of the collection of the historic barge “LEMARA” of the Municipal Centre of Culture.
