May 18th marked the end of the 20th Anniversary edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity. The festival is a celebration of documentary cinema. This year it came to Bydgoszcz as well. We invite you to a meeting with the juror of the Bydgoszcz annex Jakub Zalewski. We will talk about the condition of contemporary documentary from the perspective of festival screenings.
The slogan for this year’s MDAG is “Don’t be indifferent” and refers to the famous words of Marian Turski, which also became the slogan for the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, organized by the POLIN Museum. These words correspond with the mission of Millennium Docs Against Gravity and the film program presented at the festival over the years. This is an expression of the values that have accompanied the festival since its inception – attentiveness and sensitivity (including language) to the people around us.
During the workshop we will also watch the film “Druga strona” (The Other Side) directed by our guest.

Art in the High Noon
A series of meetings devoted to art and culture in a broad sense, addressed to people aged 60+. The meetings offer discussions on contemporary art, and creative activities that develop cognitive processes, improving manual dexterity by learning different art techniques and forms of art.
