Everyone (children and adults alike) is invited to an empathy exercise on 24-25-26.08.2022. Each meeting will last approximately two hours.
Day One – 24.08.2022, 11.00am, 20 Gdańska St.
The next workshop will be held under the theme of Interspecies Mindfulness. We will engage in attentive cohabitation with the city’s non-human inhabitants – we will observe pigeons. We will discuss what their needs and habits are, how to help them and learn to respect them.
Day Two – 25.08.2022, 11.00 am, 298 Grunwaldzka St.
We will meet at the Animal Shelter in Bydgoszcz. We will get to know his charges and realise Toy Project, which means we will make toys from recycled materials that are compatible with the needs of dogs and cats.
Day Three – 26.08.2022, 11.00am, 20 Gdańska St.
We will start by looking at Elwira Sztetner’s exhibition ‘Exercises in empathy’ together and then move on to culinary practices – together, we will make a Plant Jar of Love – full of health, sweetness and colour. And in the process, we’ll talk about the richness of plant-based cuisine.
